THE UNIONS SCREWING AMERICA !                                                 At the same time, as Americans rush to embrace the outstanding Right-to-Work law, its success will greatly diminish the financial and political power held by Democrats, their elitist allies and the union bosses.

The major reason the Democrats are so powerful is that union bosses contribute billions to the Democrats.   All those contributions come from American workers who are forced to pay a minimum of 11 billion in dues per year to the union bosses.  Of the top 14 groups who donate to politics in America, 10 are unions. 

Jim DeMint, the former U.S. Senator and current president of the esteemed Heritage Foundation, has stated, “The unions are the most powerful political group in the country today.  Their power in politics is unprecedented.  And without the unions, the Democratic Party fades away.”

ANGER OVER OBAMACARE
Tens of millions of our citizens became incensed with President Obama, when they realized that he lied to them about Obamacare.  They now recognize the ‘lie of the year’ by the president, when he claimed “if you like your health insurance or doctor, you can keep them.”  They now clearly see how dishonest his promise was, along with the fact that the Obamacare total health insurance plan is turning out to be a miserable failure.  As a result, they are very angry with most Democrats. That will motivate millions of those citizens and even many who supported Obama in 2012, to work and vote to defeat the Democrats in future elections. And those defeats will lead to repealing Obamacare.

The devastating impact Obamacare is having on our Country is clearly confirmed by paraphrasing the insightful analysis of the following three preeminent political columnists, commentators and authors (#1 New York Times):  Charles Krauthammer (Pulitzer Prize): Obamacare is an epic failure, it will collapse and with it take away a great deal of the power for generations from the Democrats and their left wing friends; Bill O’Reilly: Obamacare is the most harmful political blunder he has ever seen in his more than 30 years of reporting; Mark Levin: “Obamacare is The Greatest Scam in Modern American History”;

Max Baucas a Democratic U.S. Senator for 25 years and one of the key architects of Obamacare, warned that implementing Obamacare will cause a huge train wreck.  Baucus is the Chairman of the powerful Senate Finance Committee that rammed through the passage of Obamacare late on Christmas night.  He recently announced that he is quitting the Senate, many believe he does not want to be around when Obamacare goes down in flames and takes many Democrats with it.

AMERICANS’ RESPONSE TO THE WAR ON THEIR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM 
Many Democrats and their left wing accomplices have been waging a war on religion for years.  Their biggest mistake is their huge support for Abortion.  Because of this, a great deal of anger has been building in our religious communities and elsewhere against them.

Recent actions by Obama and others on the Left have really infuriated the religious, which is going to cause the Democrats tremendous damage at the polls.  First, Obama attacked Catholics and others beliefs on contraception and abortion.   Second, they attempted to destroy the career of Phil Robinson because of his religious faith and his support of Right To Life. Phil, as you may know, is the patriarch and one of the stars of the “Duck Dynasty” television series.  That show has become the most watched cable program in U.S. history and it is very popular among those holding to traditional Judeo-Christian religious values.  Their actions against Phil, and the Catholics have angered hundreds of millions of people across America.  This, in turn, has created a tipping point against the Democrats. 

As a result, Christians and others are now expected to double their voter turnout for conservatives in 2014 and 2016, as compared to the 2012 election.  Two examples: Catholics, are the largest voting block in the country and a majority voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012; The Evangelical Christians, have an estimated 80 million members and only 20 percent of their members voted in the 2012 election.

RIGHT TO WORK (RTW) IS POISED TO SPREAD LIKE A WILDFIRE
The exciting and profound information exploded throughout America about Michigan beating the Democrats and the union bosses to win RTW for its workers during December 2012. That’s when Michigan became the first union boss-dominated forced-dues state to pass that great worker protection law throughout RTW’s 69 year history, even though 23 states had previously passed RTW. 

Michigan’s success was an enormous shock to the political pundits all across the country.  As those pundits were well aware of the power the national union bosses and the Democrats have held over Michigan for decades, and how fiercely they fought to prevent RTW from being implemented in Michigan.

Michigan’s stunning victory is generating an enormous ground swell in many of the other 26 union-dominated forced-dues states. The conservative and other thoughtful leaders in those states now believe that they can pass RTW, as Michigan has given them confidence that they too can defeat the union bosses and the Democrats.

Those states are very motivated to pass RTW as they know how helpful it will be for their workers, improving their economies and increasing their population. In addition, they realize the positive impact of RTW in strengthening their states’ political power.  They are well aware that those are the benefits that RTW states are enjoying.

                IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT RIGHT TO WORK 

THE BENEFITS TO RTW STATES AND THEIR WORKERS VS FORCED DUES STATES (FUD)
These non-partisan statistics clearly show how RTW helps workers and their states and how America’s workers feel about the union bosses and working in FUD states:

• According to the U.S. Census Bureau 4.9 million people moved from FUD states to RTW states between 2000 and 2009.
• The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, from 1990 – 2011, RTW states had a 42.6% gain in total employment and FUD states had 19.8% gain.
• The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis also reported that during that same period, personal income grew by 209.3 % in RTW states and by 148.5% in FUD states. That computes to a yearly average of personal income growth of 9.51% for RTW and 6.75% for FUD. Or RTW workers yearly average income increase was 2.76% or 40.8% higher than FUD workers.
• The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows union membership of all private workers in America has taken a huge nosedive from 35% in 1954 to 11.3% in 2012. Update note: 2023, it’s now 8%.
• A 2013 national survey of 500 union households in each state was conducted by the Nevada Policy Research Institute and the Association of American Educators: Asking if it were possible to opt-out of membership in a labor union without losing their job or any other penalty.  Would they do it?  One of every three current union members said they would.
• The State of Wisconsin, which is considered a strong union FUD state, stopped withholding union dues from its 58,340 public school teachers’ paychecks on April 21, 2011. The public school union bosses were then forced to collect annual dues of approximately $750 from each teacher. Within 120 days a majority of Wisconsin’s teachers refused to pay and within 2 years 36,316 teachers had quit the unions.

MICHIGAN ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Michigan’s citizens love RTW because along with achieving freedom for their workers, it also helped their State’s economic development to take off.  Michigan was dead last of all our Country’s state economies, it now ranks nationally:  #1 in recovery from the recession; #3 in high tech growth; #4 in new corporate facilities; lowest unemployment in years; #7 in business tax ranking; Its credit rating has been upgraded to AA.

RTW will also reduce union dues for Michigan workers by Hundreds of Millions each year.  Think about that, all that money in the hands of the workers, not union bosses or the Democrats.  Approximately 40% of the union members are conservative and many worked to pass RTW.

Michigan again received national attention during August 2013 when they won a significant and far-reaching lawsuit against the union bosses, who were attempting to overturn RTW for Michigan’s 35,000 public employees.

The grass-roots volunteers also drove RTW success by helping to change a majority of Democrats to Republicans in the Michigan House and Senate.  And to elect a Republican Governor during 2010, and saw to it that those politicians passed the helpful RTW law. 

The union bosses and the Democrats are making a huge effort to overturn RTW in Michigan by spending an estimated 100 million between now and the election in November 2014.

As they know it’s Armageddon for them if the volunteers are able to beat them once again and save RTW.  Their defeat will motivate many of the FUD states to pass RTW ASAP, resulting in the union bosses rapidly losing billions more from their members.

THE UNION BOSSES NEGATIVE PRONOUNCEMENTS ABOUT RTW
The following are the two main points that the union bosses testify to in their attempt to convince their members, the voters and the politicians that RTW is harmful.  Even though those bosses know what they maintain about RTW are patently false, as they are well aware of the U.S. Departments of Census, Labor and Economic Analysis studies shown above.  Unfortunately, their spreading that misinformation is harming their members and America.

First, Union bosses love to declare “RTW provides workers with the ability to work for less.” The above U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis completely debunks that.

Second, Union bosses also declare “RTW workers get a free ride, which is not fair”; union bosses justify forcing all workers to pay dues by arguing non-union members (RTW) would otherwise get a “free ride” — enjoying the benefits of a union contract without paying for it. 

• Which is absolute nonsense, the reason the bosses lost millions of hard working members is because those workers were opposed to their union contracts and how the bosses administered them. Those contracts were and are driving many of their employers out of business, as well as, protecting the workers who are slackers and the bosses used their dues to support political and social causes that they were strongly opposed to, such as politics, abortion, etc.
• The bosses are well aware that they do not have to negotiate on behalf of non-union members. The Supreme Court has repeatedly affirmed unions’ ability to negotiate “members only” contracts.
• Those bosses fought hard to have the exclusive power to negotiate contracts covering all workers, members and non-members alike, in order for the bosses to retain their power.
• The bosses are well aware that their union contracts benefit some workers at the expense of others. However, they would lose control if the workers they hurt could opt out.  Seniority systems, for example, hold back better workers.  If a union negotiated a members-only seniority system, high performers would never join. They would opt for performance based promotions and raises and their actions would motivate many other hard working members to quit the unions, thereby creating a substantial reduction in dues to the bosses. 
• RTW laws do not ban unions, nor make union organizing illegal. They do not impinge on anybody’s right to voluntarily join a labor organization.  Instead, RTW laws ensure that no worker can be forced to join or pay dues to a union to get or keep a job.  This straightforward principle is aimed at protecting workers’ freedom of association.

Nearly 80 percent of Americans support that Right to Work principle when it’s presented to them in those straightforward terms.

To show how helpful RTW is for the public and private workers who are union members in RTW states:  The union bosses in those states are far more helpful to their members, as they know those workers have the freedom and ability to promptly stop paying dues.

Americans of all political persuasions are big supporters of our workers.  They used to support the union bosses, as the union movement was very helpful to the workers for many years.  They were one of the major factors that helped America build such a strong middle class. However, their protection of the workers has dramatically declined over the past 50 years, as shown below.

THE UNION BOSSES IMPACT ON AMERICA DURING THE LAST 50 YEARS
During the last 50 years the union bosses have been obsessed with obtaining political power for themselves.  They are by far the largest contributors to politics in America, which has enabled them to have a great deal of control over the politicians in D.C., the state and local communities.  Resulting in them losing their focus on helping the workers, thereby losing millions of their members.

Unfortunately, their union political power has created a great deal of corruption in our national, state and local governments, as well as, our public school system.  Many Americans believe those bosses are one of the main reasons that our country has so many problems.

First, it took 260 years to build the City of Detroit into one of the finest cities in the world (founded1700 to 1961) and it has taken the union bosses and 7 consecutive Democratic mayors just 52 years to destroy that fine city (1961 to 2013).  The main reason that happened is the union bosses financed and controlled 7 consecutive Democratic mayors and their policies of incompetent management and corruption ruined Detroit.

 Here are a few examples of the damage that their actions caused: Detroit was the Arsenal of Democracy, it did a superb job in protecting America and the world, it’s industrial complex is now destroyed – Auto Capital of the World, 91% of those jobs are gone- A vast majority of the industrial and auto workers in Detroit who lost their jobs were union members, which clearly illustrates how the bosses and Democrats failed them  – Highest Per Capita Income of any City in America, to one of the lowest at a heart breaking $15,310 per year- One of the Best Public School Systems in the U.S., to one of the worse, now 47% of their adults are illiterate – Medium home prices are now $6,000, some sell for $1.

Second, our Country’s National Public School System used to provide our children with one of the best educations in the world.  It is now one of the worst of all the developed countries.  That happened when the control of our public schools was taken over by the union bosses.  They control the two national public school unions, which are the largest and the most powerful unions in America.  They gained that control because those bosses donated billions to the Democrats, who passed laws and instituted policies that allowed the bosses to gain that power.

Since they have taken control, the quality of our children’s education has taken a huge nosedive.  Even though America’s taxpayers spending per student for K through 12 and higher education is one of the highest in the world, along with having the smallest average class size.  Our kids now ranks #48 in the world in the quality of the math and science education they receive.  We used to lead the world in the number of engineers, now China graduates hundreds of thousands more engineers per year than we do, and 75% of ours are foreign students

CONCLUSION
In order to save RTW in Michigan and to help the FUD states, repeal Obamacare and solve the other problems shown earlier, the huge grass roots group is gearing up to wage an all-out battle to beat the union bosses and the Democrats once again in the 2014 and 2016, as well as, in future elections.

First, It is crucial for our Country that Michigan saves RTW and your EARLY support is absolutely needed if they are to be successful.  Without early funds, those defending Michigan’s RTW must sit back and wait.
